Job Summary

The Assistant IT Manager Applications & Development will support the IT Manager in the administration development enhancement and support of enterprise applications used across KEK Insurance Brokers Limited. The role requires strong competencies in both application support and software development ensuring that business systems operate efficiently while also developing new digital solutions to support KEKs digital transformation strategy.

Required Skills:

1. Enterprise Application Support

  • Supporting the administration and maintenance of enterprise applications.
  • Monitoring system performance and resolving application-related issues.
  • Assisting users in troubleshooting system errors and operational challenges.
  • Supporting system upgrades testing and deployment of new features.
  • Liaising with external vendors and developers to resolve system issues.
  • Ensuring applications operate efficiently and securely.

2. Application Development & Programming

  • Developing internal applications to support operational processes.
  • Designing and implementing digital workflows and automation tools.
  • Supporting the development of client portals and digital service platforms.
  • Developing integrations between systems using APIs where required.
  • Writing and maintaining code for internal tools and applications.
  • Participating in system testing debugging and quality assurance.

3. Business Process Automation

  • Designing and building applications with Power Apps or any other tool to automate business processes.
  • Developing workflows with Power Automate or any other tool for approvals alerts and notifications.


4. Data Analytics & Reporting

  • Ability to develop dashboards with Power BI or Tableau or any other tool.
  • Providing data extraction transformation and reporting.
  • Supporting the creation of management dashboards and operational reports.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.


5. Digital Platforms & Client Systems

  • Supporting the development of client-facing portals and digital platforms.
  • Enhancing customer digital experiences through system improvements.
  • Supporting integration with external systems and APIs where required.
  • Assisting with the implementation of new digital services.


6. User Support and Training

  • Supporting staff with application-related issues.
  • Training staff on the effective use of systems and digital tools.
  • Preparing simple user guides and system documentation.
  • Promoting adoption of digital tools within the organisation.
