We are currently seeking a qualified Business Development Manager (Client Solutions Manager) to join our Mining team based out of Toronto ON. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for responsible for managing business development activities for the Bantrel mining business for our Canadian market. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Client Solutions role will include continued interface with Bechtel Mining and Metals to support North American business development.

Duties & Responsibilities include:
Contribute to Bantrels Strategy Framework process that includes market Client and competitor analysis across Canada
Oversee mining and infrastructure proposal development and the response process. Activities include developing capture strategy coordinating proposal development and drafting technical and commercial execution plans
Represent and promote Bantrel throughout the industry to build and sustain relationships and brand recognition
Working collaboratively with the Vice President/General Manager to develop and execute strategies/tactics for market development and penetration in support of business plans
Manage the pursuit risk process including deep collaboration with Bantrel legal and project management in prime contract review
Support the commercial strategy for pursuits
Drive active regular cooperation and coordination with Bechtel Global Business Unit (GBU) in pursuit of our common markets to develop the most attractive offering to Clients
Qualifications :
A post-secondary degree in Engineering Construction or a related field of study
Sound knowledge of commercial economic and business issues relating to the respective industry in general and in local target markets
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to listen and communicate with stakeholders at all levels including Clients Senior Leaders and frontline employees

Base Annual Salary: $175000 - $225000 CAD per year (Bantrel provides a competitive compensation package that reflects the skills qualifications and experience relevant to the role. The figures shared represent base salary only and do not include other elements of the Total Rewards offering. Final compensation will be determined based on the successful candidates experience and alignment with the role requirements.)
