Job Summary
Sanitation Coordinator
GeneralPurpose:
The Sanitation/Production Utility Worker isprimarily responsible for the sanitation of assigned areas of the plant. Inaddition the incumbent may have a variety of duties such as assisting in thewarehouse flour packing mill quality assurance and other departments uponreceiving supervisory approval.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sanitation
- Maintainssanitation of assigned areas of the plant ensuring areas are clean andinsect-free.
- Ensuressanitation schedule is followed and kept up to date.
- Fillsout all appropriate paperwork.
- Reportsall leaks and malfunctions in all areas to appropriate Supervisor or OperationsManager.
-Maintaining good sanitary condition inworking areas. Reports sanitation issues tooperators and Operations Manager/Food Safety Supervisor.
- Correctsand cleans up any spills of product in the product transfer system being used(plug-ups broken lines etc.).
- Assistwith maintaining machinery in good operating condition in co-operation withMaintenance Department.
- AdvisesSupervisor and/or Operations Manager of any problems or concerns.
Is aware of critical control points as they relate to product liability.
Follow all Good Manufacturing (GMPs) while performing job duties andtasks.
Performs all other job-related duties andassignments including training as required.
Responsible for compliance with Canada LabourOccupational Health and Safety requirements and company safety standards.
Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic able to workindependently as well as with cross departmental team members.
Available for nightshift and other shift workas well as work on weekends holidays and call outs as required.
