Job Summary
The Paralegal will work with the Deputy General Counsel on projects in the areas of integration administration general legal and compliance work and other legal work.
Responsibilities
Drafts edits and redlines internal governance documents and other legal documents related to day-to-day operations and acquiring businesses. Complies and updates templates to assist with the acquisition of businesses
Assist in administration functions related to the integration of acquisitions
Composes and prepares correspondence as needed
Assists with Finance Tax and Mergers and Acquisition functions
Collects and maintains documents related to acquisitions
Maintains corporate record books
Organizes and maintains legal files
Performs other projects or duties as assigned some of which will be finance and accounting-related
Qualifications :
Will need to be extremely detailed oriented to work with contract documents
Well organized
Strong prioritization skills
Self-motivated
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to properly handle confidential information and records
Willing to perform all levels of work
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel & Outlook)
Previously having worked in a corporate legal setting is a plus
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-accredited program
- 3-5 plus years related experience
