Job Title: Head of Partnerships APAC

Role Description

The Head of Partnerships APAC is a crucial role in the design and delivery of innovative partnership strategies between dentsu its clients and the media ecosystem that help to accelerate business growth and position dentsu as an agency built for the Algorithmic Era.

As a key member of the APAC investment community the Head of Partnerships APAC will play a vital role in ensuring dentsu works effectively with the supply side to further build dentsus strategic data technology and commercial solutions product in order to drive continuous business results for our clients.

From an innovation and product development perspective the role also partners with the APAC regional strategy and technology teams to develop new market leading proprietary solutions with Media Partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead integrated partnerships with dentsus largest and most strategic media partners including global media platforms as well as emerging APAC platforms and local giants.
  • Own the design development and implementation of dentsus overall partnership strategy aligned with dentsus global enterprise strategy tailored for the particular needs of APAC.
  • Drive results and outcomes in local markets and ensure dentsu markets benefit tangibly from our aggregated marketplace clout and the depth of our global media partnerships.
  • Understand and engage with dentsus Media strategy where media is the flywheel for client growth and work proactively with media partners to extract the capability required to deliver on our Media vision.
  • Work with strategy teams to champion the power of media partnerships to propel our strategic roadmap across creative strategy production-led content data and technology. Serve as the primary partner-facing leader who ensures teams are empowered to identify and realise ambitions.
  • Act as a strategic bridge between strategy technology product development and our media partners harnessing partner insights creativity and emerging opportunities to spark breakthrough innovation fuel new product development and deliver true industry firsts.
  • Collaborate closely with strategy and creative teams to shape and scale dentsus influencer programme bringing together the strengths of our media partners top talent and creative excellence to deliver measurable cultural and commercial impact.
  • Work hand-in-hand with analytics and effectiveness teams to align partner measurement programmes with dentsu APACs regional analytics vision ensuring we set new benchmarks for effectiveness accountability and data-enhanced storytelling.
  • Lead the client innovation agenda with the client leadership community; proactively identifying growth opportunities for our clients and ensuring our clients benefit tangibly from the depth of our global/regional/local media partnerships.
  • Work collaboratively with global teams other regional teams and local markets to deliver a partnership strategy that is unique to APAC but aligned to whole-of-business needs.
  • Deliver all workstreams in tandem with our commercial community to ensure our media partnership initiatives contribute to dentsus commercial ambitions.
  • Be a key spokesperson for dentsus strategic Algorithmic Era positioning effectively communicating with partners clients and the industry on dentsus differentiation and value proposition.

Experience & Skillsets Required

  • 7-10 years of experience ideally in an agency environment (open for investment partnerships client leadership and strategy backgrounds)
  • Strong knowledge of the media ecosystem particularly digital with an appropriate level of adtech & martech experience to meaningfully socialse & scale related projects across our agency network in APAC.
  • Strategically and creatively oriented in translating Partners capabilities into solutions.
  • Multi-market experience in APAC is preferred.
  • Highly articulate well organized able to communicate effectively and influence across the organization.
  • Comfortable presenting to small and large groups.
  • Comfortable in a fast pace environment and able to independently navigate challenges and ambiguity.
