Job Summary

St Paul of the Cross Passionist Retreat Center is seeking applicants to fill our Accounting Support position. The position requires exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well. Primary responsibilities include maintaining records for our donors. This is a Monday through Friday 30 to 40 hour per week position. Salary is commensurate with educational background and work experience. Benefits are available.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage all banking activities including the accounting and banking of Sunday collections payables and receivables. Ensure timely deposits.
Maintain and update donor financial and event records.
Manage and prepare accounting and statistical records and reports.
Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize and plan ahead.
Must be able to maintain confidential information.
Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with varying audiences.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Education: Bachelors degree in accounting finance or business is preferred but not you can show that you are accurate thorough and can work well with donors you can apply. It would be very helpful if you have experience with accounting software and are fluent in Microsoft Excel.
