About the Role:

The Summer Internship Program will run from early May until the end of August. Join our dynamic operations & compliance team in this role you will support the Cypress Operations & Compliance team leading our digitization project.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for completing the digitization project which includes:
    • Reading and sorting files documents and materials to determine what needs to be scanned and retained
    • Check for completeness of files and following up as needed to gather missing documents prior to scanning materials
    • Preparing the files for digitization by removing any binding staples clips etc.
    • Uploading and indexing of the scanned materials in Harmony ensuring that all images are clear and saved with the appropriate naming conventions
    • Create communications notifying relevant team members where the digital files will be stored once the project is complete
  • While the digitization project is the focus of this role you may be asked to provide support to the operations & compliance team which would include:
    • Reviewing client files for accuracy and completeness
    • Data reconciliations entry and auditing for compliance purposes
    • Assisting with troubleshooting internal systems and facilitating support tickets
    • Provide other ad hoc support to the operations and compliance team members

Your Requirements:

  • Enrolled in post-secondary education
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (word excel power point)
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Work both independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift boxes up to 10lbs

Compensation:

The anticipated compensation range for this role is $21-$24 per hour based on candidate experience / qualifications.
