Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a Insights & Analytics Intern to join our ViiV Healthcare team . This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence 2-3 days per month at our Mississauga location and reports to the Sr. Insights and Analytics Manager. The ideal candidate will be based in or near Mississauga Ontario.
As an Insights & Analytics Intern in ViiV Healthcare you will support the preparation and maintenance of reports for commercial and cross-functional teams working closely with internal stakeholders and external data partners. You will gain exposure to data analysis reporting processes and project coordination while contributing to the teams goal of delivering accurate insights that support business decisions and advance our mission to end the HIV epidemic.

Details (Your Responsibilities)
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to develop critical skills and directly impact business intelligence and reporting processes. Responsibilities include:
Assist cross-functional teams with monthly reporting preparation.
Conduct quality checks on reports and data to ensure accuracy.
Increase understanding of the business by generating insights that impact performance.
Perform ad hoc analyses based on team needs.
Support special projects aligned with the interns interests and GSK ViiVs business priorities.
Collaborate with the Knowledge Centre and offshore teams to manage reporting processes.
Manage and quality-check monthly reports before distribution.
Execute Product Demand Forecasting for key meetings.
Generate monthly PowerPoint reports (e.g. Market Share %MS) for Monthly Performance Reviews (MPR).
Support reporting for key brands using Patient Support Program (PSP) data.
Coordinate and quality-check Sales Force Incentives (SFI) reporting.
Work extensively with various data source including IQVIA IAM GPM RxDynamics SOB PSP data and ViiV Canada Power BI to address stakeholder inquiries.
Maintain and improve I&A Team processes training procedures and key documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degrees (MBA MSc PhD MBiotech) are an asset.
Experience in data analytics commercial pharmaceuticals or pharma systems/databases is an asset.

The annual pay rate for new hires in this position ranges from CAD$31980 to CAD$79950 taking into account a number of factors including work location within the Canadian market education level (e.g. Undergrad / Masters / MBA etc.) and based on the experience required for the role.
