Sales Assistant

Department: Administration
Reports To: Sales Manager & VPGM
Status: Full-Time / Hourly

Purpose

Provide administrative support to the branch sales team ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and assisting with pre-sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist guests and vendors.

  • Order and maintain office supplies break areas demo floor and conference rooms.

  • Collect and distribute daily mail.

  • Prepare and maintain monthly Average Volume Reports.

  • Retrieve buyout and trade-up quotes and invoices from banks.

  • Enter credit requests and vendor points for sales reps.

  • Draft and prepare sales proposals.

  • Enter orders into CRM and assist with database cleanup.

  • Serve as lead contact for all pre-sales tasks.

  • Review contracts for accuracy and completeness.

  • Process equipment move requests.

Work Relationships

  • Internal: Collaborates with exempt and non-exempt staff.

  • External: Communicates with customers vendors and visitors.

Requirements & Skills

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Clear professional written and verbal communication.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint).

  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED.

  • Preferred: Prior experience in a sales or administrative environment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Ability to sit for extended periods.

  • Comfortable using phone computer tools and applications.

  • Strong typing and written communication ability.

  • Able to lift 20 lbs occasionally.
