Harris Corrections is looking for a Solution Architect/Business Analyst to join our team.
What your impact will be:
- Examine and create functional requirements for corrections software
- Examine and document new or revised product program service or process
- Document validate and manage requirements from stakeholders
- Partner closely with the Product Owner Project Managers Development and QA teams
- Create comprehensive use cases and acceptance criteria for new or revised products
- Act as a bridge between business and R&D teams
- Follow and adjust to changing requirements in the corrections industry
- Work in a fast-paced environment
- Work on documentation release notes and other documentation as needed
- Help Project Managers and Sales
What we expect:
- Bachelors degree in business administration computer science operations or information systems or a related field
- Professional certification in business analysis such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA); or equivalent
- Experience with relevant software and tools such as Microsoft Office Suite project management software and data analytics tools
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams (Product R&D QA Implementation) to deliver endtoend solutions.
- Knowledge of development cycle including QA
- Knowledge of Agile Development and technical project implementation and delivery
- Knowledge of corrections industry an asset
