What Youll Do as an Infrastructure Mobility Group Manager
- Proactively pursue new business with existing and prospective clients by delivering exceptional service promoting Fishers capabilities building lasting relationships.
- Support the development and execution of strategic business plans.
- Oversee and coordinate multiple projects ensuring priorities are aligned and deadlines are met.
- Manage project budgets scope schedule and staffing to ensure successful on-time delivery.
- Lead and prepare winning project proposals and serve as primary client contact throughout project delivery.
- Proactively identify monitor and resolve technical schedule or financial issues.
- Successfully lead and manage a team across multiple locations.
- Build and maintain a high-performing motivated team with strong morale.
- Mentor staff in technical development leadership and client engagement.
- Set clear expectations provide constructive feedback and coach employees to support career growth.
- Navigate and support complex public processes and municipal approvals.
- Represent Fisher Associates in professional organizations business boards and community activities.
Requirements
What You Bring Your Expertise as an Infrastructure Mobility Group
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering (Masters preferred)
- 15 years minimum in transportation civil engineering design
- Professional Engineering License (PE)
- 10 years minimum of project management experience
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to use metrics and data to drive performance and results.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven client relationship and business development success in the transportation sector
- Proficiency in MS Office; MicroStation AutoCAD and OpenRoads a plus
- Thorough understanding of transportation project development and delivery including NCDOT agency and locally administered federal-aid projects.
- Strong understanding of transportation engineering principles including roadway or bridge design and regulatory standards.
