Engineering Project Manager

Position Summary

Lead an engineering team in the product development process of all-wheel drive system (or related product ) mechanical hardware and software control for customer applications. This includes the development of the initial proposal based on known customer requirements responsibility for the design & development of the product at each prototype phase the validation of the product at production launch and post-launch support. The Engineering Project Management (EPMs) are responsible to ensure that the entire system is delivered to the customer. This will require coordination between the application and validation teams to ensure that the entire system is validated together according to the system level validation plan. The EPM is the primary interface to engineering (customer and internal)

Key Accountabilities

Lead and conduct the engineering activities associated with the product development process for AWD system from new business opportunity through production launch. This includes:

• Analyzing the requirements from customer ensuring the entire system meets the requirements and in the resolution of open issues.
• Developing proposals for the entire system supporting the estimation process for new business opportunities.
• Performing and leading the system level development.
• Leading and managing the project development process.
• Leading and tracking the engineering budget for programs
• Leading a team in the creation and maintenance of system level.
• Taking responsible for all the deliverables to customer from engineering point of view.
• Leading an engineering team in problem solving for root cause investigation and solution creation of the system.
• Leading the 8D analysis to ensure the issue will be solved as panned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering required (Vehicle Engineering preferred)
• Minimum of 7 years of experience (required)
• Minimum 5 years of experience with automotive industry (required)
• Knowledge of mechanical and software (preferred)
• Technical project management experience (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Clear mind with patience
• Frequency oral English
• With engineering management sense.
