Job Summary
Transition Worker
Learner Support Department
Salary: 30822.00 per annum
FTE: 1.0 (37 hours per week 52 weeks per year)
Closing date for the role: 22/02/2026
Interviews will be held on: 02/03/2026
MAIN PURPOSE OF POST
To work with the Head of Learning Support and EHCP Co-ordinator to ensure that SEND students (those with EHCPs and those with additional SEN needs) are supported in their transition from school to college and are supported appropriately.
To work in particular with young people who are school refusers or highly anxious about education.
Please note:

- Applicants must have current authorisation to work in the UK as we do not offer sponsorship on this role.
- This role is employed by Basingstoke College of technology Professional Services Limited - BPS are a a subsidiary of BCoT.
