Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst. Join our Finance & Performance Hub team and play a key role in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization by transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. Reporting to Data Analytic and Reporting Manager youll helpdeliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

This is a maternity leave cover contract from end of March to Mid-November.

What Youll Do

This roleoffers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:

Design develop and implement end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI and data sourced from database and datalake.
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear actionable insights into business performance.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics needs translating requirements into effective BI solutions.
Write and optimise SQL queries to prepare report-ready datasets and support analytical use cases.
Collaborate closely with data engineers and architects to ensure data models pipelines and reporting layers are scalable performant and fit for purpose.

What Youll Bring

A tertiary qualification in information technology computer science business or related discipline.
Experience in business intelligence data analytics or a related field.
Proven experience with Power BI DAX Power Apps and Paginated Reports.
Experience with data modelling data warehousing and cloud-based BI solutions is preferred.
Hands-on experience with Databricks. Working with Delta tables / Lakehouse concepts and query optimisation and performance awareness.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g. SQL Server MySQL) and an understanding the Lakehouse architecture (bronze / silver / gold layers)
