Job Summary

Key job responsibilities
Providing support for month end reviews forecasts and annual operating plans
Work closely with the Operations & Supply Chain team and be responsible for tracking associated expenses
Leading and participating as the key finance stakeholder in cross functional teams
Building financial models presenting analyses and recommendations to senior leadership
Developing scalable and efficient financial processes that support the business
Deriving meaningful insights and recommendations from large data sets
Partnering across the finance organization to drive continuous improvement in financial and operational performance
Developing maintaining and tracking key operations metrics
Producing ad-hoc analyses and assisting in various projects
Driving automation of reporting and analytics

Your day will be a dynamic blend of strategic analysis collaborative problem-solving and financial innovation. Youll dive deep into complex financial data craft compelling presentations and engage with cross-functional teams to drive meaningful business outcomes. Expect to balance detailed financial modeling with high-level strategic thinking all while supporting critical decision-making processes.
About the team
We are a collaborative and forward-thinking finance team dedicated to supporting Amazons Devices & Services organization. Our team thrives on intellectual curiosity strategic thinking and a passion for driving operational efficiency. Youll work alongside talented professionals who are committed to pushing the boundaries of financial strategy and business performance.
- 3 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3 years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 3 years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 3 years of identifying leading and executing opportunities to improve automate standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering statistics or business or Bachelors degree and 5 years of quantitative role (engineering process re-engineering quality assurance) experience
- 4 years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
