Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Gastroenterology in Mechanicsville VA

Job Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services.
Conduct a variety of procedures including endoscopies biopsies and management of gastrointestinal disorders.
Maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR.
Participate in hospital call rotations as required.
Engage in ongoing communication with other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Gastroenterology (Required).
Valid Virginia medical license (Required).
Available to cover open shifts as needed (Required).
Experience with ERCP and proficiency in gastrointestinal procedures (Required).
Clean malpractice history.
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation (Required).
COVID vaccination is highly preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

Must have a Board Certification in Gastroenterology.
Virginia medical license is mandatory.
Flu shot is required; COVID vaccination highly preferred.
ERCP certification is mandatory; EUS is preferred.
