Job Summary: The NICU Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to neonates in a Level II NICU setting utilizing the nursing process to deliver safe compassionate and family-centered care while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for neonatal patients.
Deliver direct clinical care and monitor neonatal conditions in a Level II NICU environment.
Communicate effectively with physicians families and interdisciplinary team members regarding patient status and care plans.
Provide education and emotional support to parents and caregivers.
Document care assessments and interventions accurately and timely.
Participate in care coordination and problem-solving to address variances in patient outcomes.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent Level II NICU experience (no new graduates; no exceptions).
Experience in a hospital-based NICU setting.
Strong clinical judgment and neonatal assessment skills.

Education: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.

Certifications
AHA BLS
License
Current Registered Nurse license issued by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
