Position Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Position Overview:
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department serving patients of all ages and acuity levels. This role requires strong clinical judgment adaptability and the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Unit Details:

Emergency Department with 15 treatment beds plus a 6-bed fast-track area
Cares for pediatric adult and geriatric populations

Key Responsibilities:

Assess plan implement and evaluate emergency nursing care
Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity
Administer medications treatments and interventions per protocol
Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergent situations
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
Accurately document care using the electronic medical record system

Schedule:

Variable shifts including days evenings and nights
Weekend and holiday coverage required

Licensure & Certifications:

Active State of Hawaii Registered Nurse license (required)
BLS ACLS and PALS (required)
TNCC (required)

Experience Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience

EMR System:

EPIC
