Job Summary: The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care within a correctional healthcare setting delivering clinical services in accordance with provider orders nursing standards and applicable regulations while ensuring patient safety and continuity of care.

Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care including assessment medication administration and treatment implementation.
Assist licensed providers during examinations sick call and medical procedures.
Perform emergency interventions and coordinate escalation of care when required.
Supervise and guide licensed practical nurses and non-licensed medical staff.
Maintain accurate confidential medical documentation in compliance with policy.
Support coordination of medical services with internal and external providers.
Promote safety infection control and appropriate use of medical resources.

Requirements
Tuesday start required.
U.S. citizenship and Social Security card required for facility clearance.
Fingerprinting completed on the first day.
Experience providing nursing care in a structured or high-security environment preferred.
Ability to maintain security awareness and function effectively in a correctional setting.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

License
Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
Valid drivers license.
