UX designer -
Position Description:
We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to drive design efforts for our flagship
product Zealie Zion RCM.
This is a pivotal role within Zealie offering a unique opportunity to shape the future of
RCM solutions in the Behavioral Healthcare industry in the United States.
As a UX Designer for Zealie Zion RCM you will be responsible for the end-to-end design
lifecycle-from ideation to launch and beyond.
You will gather user requirements create detailed user flows and develop high-fidelity
UX mockups.
Collaborating closely with Product Managers engineering teams and executive
leadership you will ensure that our product designs align with market needs and
company goals.
You will work within an Agile development framework translating user needs into intuitive
interfaces and overseeing the successful delivery of design increments.
Your role serves as the critical link between our users (both internal and external) and our
development teams regarding user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership:
Own the user experience and interface design for Zealie Zion RCM aligning it with
company objectives and market opportunities.
Act as the design champion maintaining deep expertise in Zealie Zion RCMs user
journey and serving as the go-to person for UX inquiries.
Research & Requirement Gathering:
Engage with users stakeholders and customers to gather detailed design requirements.
Create comprehensive wireframes and UX mockups that clearly articulate product
features and functionalities.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform design strategy.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with engineering teams to translate designs into actionable user stories and
technical specifications.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align design initiatives with strategic business
goals.
Facilitate cross-functional communication among teams ensuring transparency and
alignment on design vision.
Agile Participation:
Participate in all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning backlog
grooming demos and retrospectives.
Ensure design deliverables are ready for development helping manage the backlog so
valuable features are delivered promptly.
User Experience & Testing:
Develop intuitive UX designs and mockups that enhance user engagement and
satisfaction.
Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback into iterative design improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Train internal teams on new interface functionalities and best practices.
Address and resolve UX issues raised by customers promptly.
Data Analysis & Monitoring:
Utilize advanced analytics to monitor interface performance and user engagement.
Make data-driven decisions to optimize product designs and inform future developments.
Leadership & Mentoring:
Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative design environment.
Lead by example demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Requirements:
Educational Background:
Bachelors degree in Human-Computer Interaction Design Computer Science or a
related technical field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a UX Designer in a technology-driven environment.
Proven experience designing for Enterprise software applications is required.
Experience working with RCM products Medical Billing or Behavioral Healthcare is a
bonus.
Proven track record of successfully launching and managing software product designs.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in creating detailed user flows wireframes and high-fidelity UX mockups.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies particularly Scrum.
Expertise with design software (e.g. Sketch Figma) and project management tools (e.g.
JIRA Trello).
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills:
Advanced skills in data monitoring analytics and interpretation regarding user behavior.
Ability to make data-driven decisions and translate insights into actionable design plans.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively communicate complex design concepts to non-technical
stakeholders.
Strong presentation skills and experience leading design reviews.
Organizational Skills:
Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines.
Leadership Qualities:
Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
A proactive leader who takes initiative and drives projects to completion.
Other Requirements:
High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products.
Flexibility to work the night shift aligned with the US CST Timezone.
Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings or company events.
