Scope of Project
The Department is modernizing its flagship cloud-hosted (OCI) application BADGE migrating from a desktop version to a web-based application. The UI/UX Developer will work onsite closely with lead developers to understand existing desktop code migrate functionality to the web platform and take ownership of assigned modules while guiding other contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand existing desktop application code for migration to web
- Develop and enhance web-based UI technologies
- Build and maintain MVC Web Services and web applications
- Collaborate with lead developers to design implement and review modules
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices
- Work with databases and write complex SQL queries
- Use source control tools (TFS/GIT) effectively
- Support testing debugging and deployment activities
- Ensure solutions meet performance security and usability standards
