Whats the role

The IT Senior Governance Manager IPS Run Practice is responsible for ensuring Technology operates in a continuously compliant auditready state with strong governance risk oversight and lifecycle discipline.

This role is well suited to a candidate with a generalist IT / Technology background combined with a strong understanding of governance and risk. You will work across Enterprise Technology Services Business Application Owners and senior Technology leaders guiding how technology is managed supported and continuously improved.

A key aspect of the role is extensive senior stakeholder engagement including the management of GMlevel stakeholders requiring strong influence communication and advisory capability. The focus is on risk mitigation application supportability remediation planning and governance maturity uplift supported by structured insights empirical data and executivelevel reporting.

This role is based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

What do I need

  • 5 plus years relevant IT experience ideally in governance operations or enterprise technology environments
  • Strong governance and risk acumen with a focus on continuous compliance and audit readiness
  • Solid understanding of IT financials and contract management including forecasting P&L concepts and contract change or renewal
  • Excellent reporting analysis and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to influence senior and executive stakeholders without direct authority
  • Experience working across multiple technology disciplines and with Business Application Owners
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously coach others and drive continual improvement
  • A customercentric mindset with a track record of anticipating owning and resolving issues
