Your New Role and Responsibilities
Leidos Australia are seeking a skilled Asset Manager to join our GEOSPACES program delivering advanced national security technology solutions in a secure high-compliance environment.
This role is responsible for ensuring IT infrastructure hardware assets and their configurations are accurately known recorded accessible and kept current. The Asset Manager will ensure the development maintenance compliance integration and performance of the Asset Management process supporting the effective and secure operation of mission-critical systems. Your responsibilities in this role will include;
Ensure IT infrastructure hardware assets are accurately captured on arrival maintained throughout their lifecycle and appropriately disposed of when retired.
Manage and analyse large asset data sets producing accurate reports to support operational compliance and decision-making requirements.
Provide reliable asset data services to internal and external stakeholders supporting day-to-day operations and customer needs.
Support audit activities asset optimisation and rationalisation initiatives to improve efficiency compliance and value.
Collaborate with customers vendors and service providers to integrate Asset Management processes with related functions such as Configuration Management Billing Capacity Management Project Services and Vendor Management.
What Youll Bring to Make An Impact
Demonstrated experience in an Asset Management role with a solid understanding of ITIL processes and how Asset Management integrates across the ITIL lifecycle (ITIL v3 or V4 certified).
Experience using ServiceNow or equivalent tools and performing asset data audits reconciliation and maintaining accurate current asset records.
Strong technical logical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel supported by strong documentation skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and engage effectively with stakeholders.
