Sales Executive drives company revenue by sourcing new clients maintaining existing relationships and closing sales deals. Key responsibilities include conducting product demonstrations negotiating contracts meeting sales targets and using CRM software for tracking. They are the primary contact between the organization and clients requiring strong communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively searching for new business opportunities through cold calling networking and social media.
Sales Meetings & Demonstrations: Presenting products or services highlighting benefits to prospective clients.
Negotiation & Closing: Handling objections negotiating terms and closing sales to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets.
Relationship Management: Building strong long-term relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
Administration & Reporting: Using CRM systems to maintain accurate client records and submitting sales performance reports.
Market Intelligence: Staying informed about competitor activities and industry trends.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience: Proven experience in sales business development or a customer-facing role.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiating and presenting.
Goal-Oriented: A strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) and Microsoft Office.
Education: A bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field is often preferred.
