Operations QA Specialist, New Business (1 year contract)

Job Description:

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases with clear UAT entry criteria and exit criteria.
• Maintain clear records of test execution defects and retest outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with the UAT manager to resolve UAT roadblocks and prioritize system defects fixes.
• Review and prepare test plans suggesting test flow optimizations where possible.
• Support projects in addition to business-as-usual (BAU) UAT tasks working closely with project leads and UAT manager to ensure UAT is completed on time and with quality.
• To process new insurance proposals according to the set guidelines and stipulated rules & regulations and deliver in accordance to the set service standard and quality.
• Perform policy reviews assess and make sound judgement.

• Knowledge of insurance laws & regulations
• Good knowledge of life insurance system testing methodology and insurance business knowledge.
• Customer-oriented with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Confident in problem solving and decision making
• Independent and strong stakeholders management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document and track defects.
• Fast learner willing to take initiative and ownership.
• Self-driven passionate with a strong desire to learn and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Working Experience

• 2 years of experience
• Prior experience in the insurance industry will be an advantage

Professional Qualifications & Education

• Diploma / Degree in Business Administration/Management
