Wereseeking atrade-qualified Vehicle Damage Assessorto join our Vehicle Assessing team based in ourSydney CBD office. This is astable MondayFriday office-based rolewhereyoulluse your technicalexpertiseto assess vehicle damage anddeterminesafe cost-effective repair solutions for our self-insured fleet.
While prior assessing experience is idealwerealso open to candidates fromestimating or hands-on repair backgroundswho are keen to learn pick things up quickly and build a career in assessing.
Responsibilities
- Assess vehicle damage anddetermineappropriate economical repair methods
- Oversee the repair process for our self-insured vehicle fleet
- Conduct assessments across multiple channels
- Prepare detailed assessment reports in line with claims protocols
- Negotiate repair scopes and costs with network repairers
- Manage rectification processes and quality outcomes
- Collaborate with internal teams to support broader business goals
- Monitor repair timelines to improve vehicle availability and utilisation
What youll bring
- Trade-qualified in the motor repair industry(minimum 3 years)
- Experience with Panel Beating or Spray Painting (advantageous)
- Prior assessing experience (preferred)
- Strong understanding of the motor body repair industry
- A commitment to high-quality customer service
- Confident computer skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Comfortable commuting and working in Sydney CBD
