Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients including bulk dozer push coal quality and recovery mobile crushing civil works and rehabilitation services. Operating from our Head Office in Beresfield a fully equipped Muswellbrook workshop and a Queensland operations office we support major sites across NSW and QLD.
We are currently expanding our maintenance team and have an opportunity for a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join the this role youll work independently maintaining our fleet of light vehicles while also gaining hands-on exposure to our in-house Mineco-owned and operated large-scale civil and mining equipment.
About the role
- Perform servicing repairs and maintenance on Minecos fleet of light vehicles.
- Assist Plant Mechanics with the servicing repair and maintenance of large-scale civil and mining equipment.
- Work alongside experienced tradespeople to develop your skills and gain exposure to the mining industry.
- Learn diagnostic and fault-finding techniques across both light vehicles and heavy equipment.
- Maintain a safe organised work environment and complete all work to a high standard.
The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
- Post-trade experience servicing and repairing light vehicles.
- Current Australian Drivers Licence.
A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
