Under general supervision the Sustainability Program Coordinator supports the implementation of CSUNs Road Map to Sustainability evaluates sustainable technologies manages critical program data and coordinates campus sustainability engagement and external reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assists in the development and execution of sustainability projects as outlined in the roadmap.
  • Assists with program coordination and alignment of initiatives with the Roadmap to Sustainability.
  • Collects analyzes and maintains data required for external sustainability reporting such as AASHE STARS Second Nature and CSU Chancellors Office.
  • Identifies and evaluates potential funding opportunities for sustainability projects including grants rebates and incentives.
  • Coordinates telling CSUNs sustainability story under the vision of the Director.
  • Develops implements and maintains Smartsheet toolsincluding workflows dashboards forms and automationsto support sustainability planning project tracking and reporting.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
