Job Summary
Under the direction of the Assembly Lead this position assembles covers and repair seating pads for fitness equipment. This position differentiates from level II in that the incumbent may be learning to use the router and sewing machine but does not do so regularly and independently.

Requirements of All Levels
Cut padding using band saw
Traces and cut upholstery material using scissors or razor blade
Covers assembled seating pad using staple and/or glue
Remove old covering padding and defective wood from seat needing repair as needed
Have all necessary tools required at your work station and in proper working condition
Regular and reliable attendance
Keep area clean and organized
Follow safety procedures and instructions
Maintain productivity throughout shift
Meet production expectations set by team lead
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Minimum Experience:
3 months to 3 years related experience and/or training in upholstery sewing assembly or related experience.
