Job Summary

Hospital : Kwai Chung Hospital

Pay:HK$15299 - HK$28492 ( HGPS point 0 to 10 ) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Mainly deployed on general storekeeping duties under supervision or taking charge of a small store under detailed instructions; may be required to work shifts.

2. Perform storekeeping duties in main store at Kwai Chung Hospital / Offsite Store(s) at Kwai Chung/ other locations.

3. Assist in monitoring the contractors performance and assist supervisor(s) in review of identified risks in product failure and deficiencies arising from product recall/ poor vendor performance.

4. Assist supervisor(s) in handling product complaints quality feedback quality discrepancies and to follow product recall and replacement issues.

5. Compile data and statistics reports.

6. Maintain records and progress reports for procure-to-pay process of special projects.

7. Handle external and internal enquiries

8. Provide general clerical duties and administrative support to supervisors in the daily operation of the unit.

9. Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements:

1. Serving staff in the substantive rank of Supplies Attendant with at least 2 years of satisfactory service in that rank;

2. Having completed Form 4/ Secondary 4 or equivalent; and

3. Able to write Chinese and solve arithmetical problems and speak and write English at a standard equivalent to Form 4/ Secondary 4.

Preferable attributes:

1. Post-secondary education with relevant subjects in procurement and supplies.

2. Working experience and exposure in procurement and material management.

3. Knowledge in the application of common computer software including Microsoft Office.

4. Good knowledge in the procurement and supplies systems and applications such as Oracle System.

5. Able to work independently and under pressure.

6. Good verbal and communication skills in English and Chinese.
