About the RoleThis is a part-time permanent opportunity (17.5 hours per week) based at Unitings Youth Services Hub on Alfred Street Dubbo. The role will work across primary and secondary schools in Dubbo delivering the Youth First early intervention group program. Flexibility is available to work across 35 days per week. Availability to work on Wednesdays is essential as this is the programs team meeting supervision and collaboration Group Worker supports children and young people by facilitating small group programs within school settings that promote emotional regulation healthy relationships self-care and positive behaviour change. Programs are delivered in safe inclusive spaces that strengthen belonging wellbeing and protective factors helping young people remain safe connected and engaged in school and First workers facilitate groups of approximately five students per school term focusing on building emotional awareness and supporting young people to navigate relationships with peers.
