About the role
ARRCS are committed to Nhulunbuy Region and have the following upcoming vacancies across our services from May 2026 with opportunities available for 1 - 4 years.
Personal Care Workers - 08 x Permanent Full Time Vacancy
(from $34.59 per hour base rate penalties super) per ARRCS Enterprise Agreement 2023
76 hours per Fortnight
Personal Care Workers are carers who provide emotional and practical support such as administering medication providing transport to appointments personal care including showering and offering daily living supports.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role the ability to demonstrate the below is preferred not essential:
Certificate III or higher in Aged Care Disability or Individual Care be willing to Obtain
Current First Aid Certificate be willing to Obtain
Food Handler Course SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety be willing to Obtain
Experience in assisting with the care services and daily living for the Aged
Effective and clear communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to manage and work within a culturally diverse team environment
Ability to commit to ad hoc casual shifts as available
An ability to undertake a range of manual handling functions relevant to the role
To work in our industry you must also have or be willing to obtain the following;
Current National Police Check (dated within 3 Months)
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Annual Influenza vaccination
Availability to work across a 24/7 Roster to meet operational needs
NT Drivers License
