What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

• Masters Degree in a mental health field.
• MHSII - One (1) year of experience in a mental health field OR completion of social work marriage family therapy or professional clinical counselor practicum program within an SBHG agency. Experience should be with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings preferred.
• MHSIII - Two (2) years of experience in a behavioral health field; Children or adolescent in residential or outpatient setting preferred.

License or Certification

• MHSII - AMFT/APCC/ASW BBS registration
• MHSIII - LMFT LPCC or LCSW license in California
• Valid California Drivers License.

NOTE: Must possess a valid California Drivers License and maintain a driving record that meets the company drivers eligibility policy.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

This position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to children or adolescents and their families referred to Community Services. Services may include engagement assessment evaluation individual/family/group therapy and case management. The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support addition the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information.

Division/Program Overview:

• Outpatient community-based program that serves youth age 18-25 with serious and persistent mental health issues
• Program provides intensive case management outreach and engagement medication support as well as mental health counseling peer groups and supportive services to assist TAY transition to adult life.
• Services offered are trauma informed and culturally responsive
