Salary (Actual Salary): 21955.76 to 22304.20.

Working Pattern: 37 hours per week during term time and holiday closure periods.

As a Student Consequences Coordinator you will be on the front lines of student support. You wont just be managing consequences - youll be building bridges between the academy students and their families to ensure every child has the best chance to succeed.

Responsibilities
Working under the direction of senior staff you will coordinate the support provision for students requiring behavioural intervention primarily through the management of the Consequences Room. Duties include timely contact with parents to communicate behaviour Consequences or exclusions.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Support & Intervention: Coordinate support for students facing barriers to learning providing supervision and tailored units of work to help them stay on track. Support families and students during difficult periods liaising with outside agencies education welfare and the police when sensitive issues arise.
  • Communication: Act as a key point of contact for parents informing them of student progress behaviour milestones or exclusions with empathy and professionalism. You will also liaise with parents external agencies education welfare and the police regarding confidential and complex issues.
  • Administration: Manage the Consequences Room ensuring it remains a productive environment and accurately record data (C4s/C5s) on systems like SIMS or oCloud.

Qualifications

  • Team Player: You are eager to contribute to the overall ethos of the academy and participate in staff training and development.
  • Safeguarding: The capacity to relate sympathetically to students while recognizing potential child safeguarding issues.

Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.
