OurHeritageNSWteam is currentlyseekingto appoint aManager Heritage Programsto lead the delivery of key heritage programs that support Government priorities and the protection of NSWs most significant heritage assets. This senior role plays a critical part in overseeing the Government Heritage and Conservation program (s170) and World Heritage List projects ensuring strong outcomes.
As a key member of the HeritageListingPrograms management team you will provide strategic and operational leadership across Government and World Heritage programs. You will oversee program governance monitoring evaluation and reportingprovideexpert advice on complex and sensitive heritage matters and support the Senior Manager to deliver highpriority programs and initiatives in line with legislative and policy requirements.
Aboutyou
You are an experienced heritage professional withdemonstratedleadership in delivering complex programsand projectswithin a legislative and policy environment. You bring strong knowledge of NSW heritage frameworks including Government Heritage and Conservation (s170) and/or World Heritage and are confidentprovidinghighlevel advice on complex or sensitive heritage issues.
You are a collaborative and credible leader who builds strong relationships across government and with external stakeholders. Withstrong communicationand peoplemanagement skills you lead highperforming teams manage competingprioritiesand influencepracticaloutcomes contributing to the delivery of highquality statewide heritage outcomes.
Knowledge and experience
Demonstrated experience or knowledge of NSW heritage programs under theHeritage Act 1977including Government Heritage and Conservation program (s170) and under theNational Parks and Wildlife Act 1974isrequired.
