Job Summary

Exciting Job Opportunity For Generator Technician To Work In Qatar!!!

Note: Candidates from all across India with a minimum of 5years of work experience as a Generator Technician are eligible to apply.

Location: Qatar

Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generators of various brands and capacities.
Diagnose and resolve faults in diesel engines alternators AC/DC electrical circuits wiring harnesses and control panels.
Conduct load tests and evaluate generator performance to ensure adherence to specified operating parameters.
Replace and repair critical components including radiators fuel lift pumps hoses belts crank seals starters and electrical alternators.
Execute high-voltage cable installations and grounding procedures in strict compliance with electrical safety standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in generator maintenance (varies by role level).
Hands-on experience with fault diagnostics and testing equipment such as multi meters insulation testers and oscilloscopes.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals electrical schematics and shop drawings.
Solid understanding of voltage amperage frequency and power factor calculations.
Certified in LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and committed to workplace safety protocols.
ITI certification or diploma in Generator Mechanic Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Required Skills:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 3years of experience in quality control within a steel or heavy fabrication environment. Proven knowledge of welding standards and fabrication codes including AWS D1.1 ASME Section IX and ISO 9001. Strong analytical written and verbal communication skills with a focus on accuracy and clarity. Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office report generation and digital quality record systems.
