Job Summary

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with expertise in Autodesk applications and full-stack development to support our mechanical and electrical engineering teams. This role involves designing and maintaining robust software add-ins for key engineering platforms including Inventor AutoCAD Revit and Demo3D/Emulate3D using C# .NET and VBA. The ideal candidate will bridge engineering requirements with technical implementation ensuring scalable secure and user-friendly solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the U.S. contribute to system architecture and drive continuous improvement through proactive problem-solving and documentation. Your work will directly impact engineering efficiency and product innovation.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain software add-ins for Autodesk applications (Inventor AutoCAD Revit Demo3D/Emulate3D) using C# .NET and VBA.
Design intuitive responsive front-end interfaces and maintain clean scalable and secure back-end code.
Integrate with diverse data sources such as SQL databases flat files and Excel for seamless data flow.
Translate engineering specifications into programmable rules to enhance application functionality.
Design and manage complex relational SQL databases to support application integration and data consistency.
Implement Autodesk Vault API calls to enable communication with SQL tables and ERP systems.
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal teams.
Collaborate with a dynamic software development team based in the United States including mechanical and software engineers.
Partner with product owners and business stakeholders to refine requirements and align development with strategic goals.
Proactively identify potential system issues and implement preventive solutions.
Create and maintain developer documentation; support the Engineering Support Office in producing user-facing guides.

Requirements

3 years of hands-on experience with Autodesk applications including Inventor (must-have) ACC/Revit (must-have) Demo3D/Emulate3D (must-have) and AutoCAD.
Proficiency in C# .NET SQL and VBA for developing and deploying software plugins.
Experience with database design and management including building and maintaining relational SQL tables.
L2/L3 support experience in the IT industry with a strong troubleshooting mindset.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or equivalent practical experience).
Ability to work in a collaborative cross-functional environment with U.S.-based teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on documentation and user support.
