The IT Manager is responsible for managing end-to-end IT operations supporting retail stores warehouses and corporate offices in the Philippines. The role ensures the stability security and performance of retail systems while aligning local IT initiatives with global IT strategies and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end IT operations for retail stores warehouses and corporate offices nationwide
- Ensure high availability and performance of retail systems including POS payment platforms ERP inventory management and omnichannel solutions
- Align local IT operations with global IT strategies architecture standards and governance
- Oversee network infrastructure store connectivity cloud-based and on-premise systems
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and Philippine regulations including the Data Privacy Act of 2012
- Lead IT service management functions such as incident problem change and release management
- Manage local IT teams external service providers and regional/global vendors
- Support new store openings system rollouts upgrades and business continuity and disaster recovery planning
- Develop and manage local IT budgets while optimizing costs and resource utilization
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical system outages impacting retail operations
Requirements
Education
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
Relevant Experience
- At least 6 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 3 years in an IT Manager or supervisory role
- Strong experience in enterprise or retail IT environments preferably within a multinational company (MNC)
- Hands-on exposure to POS systems payment gateways ERP platforms and retail/store technologies
- Familiarity with Philippine regulatory requirements and global IT compliance standards
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership team management and vendor management skills
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders across local regional and global teams
- Solid understanding of retail operations and business processes
- Strong focus on risk management cybersecurity and regulatory compliance
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required)
