This role is part of Alcons Marketing function a team that helps provide access to products across all channels including through traditional Marketing strategies event planning and professional education.
Manager II Professional Education & Development (Professional Path) is primarily responsible for leading category strategies to boost growth and profitability in the Vision Care segment. You will shape product assortment pricing and promotions build strong supplier and cross-functional relationships and use market insights to deliver standout value to customers. Specific responsibilities include:
Develop and implement category strategies to drive growth and profitability in the Vision Care segment
Manage product assortment pricing and promotional strategies to optimize category performance
Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal product availability quality and cost and evaluate supplier performance to negotiate favorable terms
Analyze market trends customer preferences and the competitive landscape to inform category decisions and provide insights and recommendations to drive innovation and differentiation
Collaborate with marketing sales and supply chain teams to align category strategies with overall business objectives
Monitor category performance conduct regular business reviews with suppliers and internal stakeholders and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets and identify opportunities for improvement
Contribute input on category budgets and resource allocation
