Job Summary

My client is looking for an experienced Invoicing Clerk to join a fast-paced environment supporting clients within the supply chain and logistics sector.
This role is based in Stellenbosch Western Cape.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare review and issue large volumes of customer invoices including foreign currency billing
- Ensure that all invoicing is completed in line with internal controls procedures and client requirements
- Interpret invoicing guidelines and provide clarity where needed
- Engage with clients to investigate discrepancies and resolve billing queries efficiently
- Manage daily weekly and monthly invoicing deadlines to ensure timely delivery
- Contribute to client planning and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with management to ensure that service levels and client expectations are met
- Participate in client meetings or site visits when required
- Support the improvement and implementation of invoicing processes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information including seasonal changes
- Ensure that all the required data is complete and correct before processing
- Perform general administrative duties related to invoicing
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to audit requests
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Grade 12 / Matric with Mathematics and Accounting
- Relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous)
- 23 years experience in an invoicing or billing role preferably within Supply Chain or Logistics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and confidence dealing with clients
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment
