Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Clerk to join our team. The Dispatch Clerk will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the dispatch of goods and materials to our clients. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Key Responsibilities: - Receive and process orders from clients for dispatch - Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate preparation of orders for dispatch - Schedule and assign delivery routes to drivers - Monitor and track the progress of deliveries to ensure on-time and safe delivery - Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities including delivery times delays and any issues that may arise - Communicate with clients regarding any changes or delays in their delivery schedules - Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to dispatch operations - Assist with inventory management and stock control as needed - Provide excellent customer service to clients addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in dispatch or logistics is preferred - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications - Familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus - Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings if needed If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics and supply chain management we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
