We are currently seeking a Dispatch Clerk to join our team in Johannesburg. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and advancement within the company. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate and schedule all dispatch activities including receiving sorting and distributing goods - Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers - Maintain accurate records of all dispatch transactions - Communicate with drivers and other team members to ensure efficient and effective delivery of goods - Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary - Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner - Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area - Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and procedures - Other duties as assigned by management Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience as a Dispatch Clerk or in a similar role - Knowledge of logistics and supply chain operations - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Must be able to lift and move heavy objects - Valid drivers license If you are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for logistics and supply chain we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
