On behalf of our innovative pharmaceutical partner we are looking for a senior professional for a high-impact strategic role. The successful candidate will lead the medical and scientific activities of a specific therapeutic area at both strategic and executive levels. This role is responsible for maintaining high-level relationships with HCPs managing end-to-end scientific projects and shaping the long-term medical strategy to ensure scientific leadership in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Therapeutic Area Strategy: Build and deliver the comprehensive TA strategy and execution plan that drives scientific success and market leadership.
- HCP Customer Journey Ownership: Own the end-to-end HCP customer journey defining educational needs and driving scientific initiatives to secure a deep understanding of disease areas.
- Strategic Stakeholder Management: Foster collaborative relationships with cross-functional leaders (Medical Commercial Access) to ensure the creation of a unified and compliant brand strategy.
- Insight-Driven Decision Making: Integrate insights from advanced analytics and market research to develop tailored customer segments and actionable strategic imperatives.
- Omnichannel Ecosystem Development: Leverage omnichannel capabilities and modular content to enhance customer engagement optimizing channel selection for non-promotional interactions.
- Scientific Leadership Projects: Set up and execute key strategic projects within the TA to secure and maintain the companys scientific authority.
- Performance Metrics & KPIs: Define and implement success KPIs for HCP segment activities and omnichannel interactions utilizing feedback to improve engagement.
- Cross-Functional Translation: Collaborate across departments to translate complex clinical insights into compliant strategic initiatives and patient-centric goals.
- Content Strategy & Deployment: Plan and deliver scientific content across personal and non-personal channels ensuring alignment with overarching therapeutic goals.
- Medical-Commercial Synergy: Act as a key strategic partner for the Brand Lead in defining the scientific narrative and securing proper understanding of treatment options.
Required Qualifications & Experience:- Educational background: Life Science Degree (MD or Pharmacist is preferred)
- Therapeutic Area: oncology and cardiology experience is a plus
- Extensive Scientific Expertise: Proven track record in leading and executing HCP-focused strategies within the pharmaceutical industry (Cardiovascular experience is a significant advantage).
- Strategic & Analytical Fluency: Ability to interpret complex analytical models and translate data/insights into actionable long-term business and medical strategies.
- Leadership & Matrix Experience: Demonstrated experience in leading and people managementand the ability to navigate complex cross-functional matrix environments.
- Omnichannel Proficiency: Familiarity with modern omnichannel strategies digital customer engagement and modular content production processes.
- Superior Stakeholder Management: Exceptional ability to build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and internal high-level stakeholders (e.g. GM Medical/Commercial Directors).
