About the Team

The Global Chief Data Office (GCDO) is a global function in PwC recognising the data driven nature of the organisation and enablement of new digital practices. TheCompliance andPolicy functionis responsible forhelping PwCs data assets be proactively and effectively managedin alignment with global and local regulatory environments to support the use of data in the global data strategy. The Policy teamprovides policyexpertiseto support thegovernance and responsible use of datain innovationand data handling.

To support these initiatives we are looking for a datacompliance andpolicyadvisor to:

  • Support the creation drafting and approval of both GCDO and network policies.

  • Help develop and implement GCDO strategies including supporting documentation around client internal andthird partydata.

  • Support alignment of the GCDO with theGlobalOffice ofLegalCounselGlobalRiskManagementand other global functions developing deep working relationships built on trust.

  • Provide ongoing support of alignment across GCDO pillars withCompliance andPolicy functions.

We are looking for someone with a passion for data and datamanagement who has strong written and communications skills.

Job description & summary

  • Independently research collect and analyse information to develop and draft policies to support the Global Data Strategy and all functions across the GCDO.

  • Manage and organise meetings with key global stakeholder groups throughout the document creation process including information gathering policy development and post-publication activities (communicating the published policies to stakeholder groups completing routine policy refreshes etc).

  • Manage the development and refresh of multiple policies at one time across multiple stakeholder groups while routinely publishing completed content using dashboard reporting functionalities.

  • Support territories withdata related policy developmenttofacilitatea standardised and cohesive data management approach across the PwC network consulting with subject matter experts and other PwCdepartmentsas necessary.

  • Build relationships with the data leaders the Chief Data Officer community and other stakeholder groups to understand their key challenges and working with subject matter experts to address thosecomplianceand policy related challenges.

  • Continue to gain knowledge and develop understanding of data compliance tosupport all Complianceand Policy Team initiatives.

  • The role reports into the GCDOCompliance Leaderand sits within the GCDOComplianceand Policy team.

Requirements of the role

  • 2-3years experiencein professional environment

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experienced policy researchanalysisand development skills

  • Ability to take a vague and/or ambiguous ask and develop an approach for a path forward

  • Business process development and documentation experience

  • Strong interest in data managementand regulatory compliance

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of ateam

  • Delivering in a highly matrixed fluid environment

  • Collaborating in an international environment comfortable with flexible working arrangements
