Job Summary

Our Application Engineering team (Omni & Digital tribes) is looking for Senior Java Developers who will help build the core of our applications backend microservices and their integration with harmonized APIs.
Our solutions power both digital channels (such as the My TMobile mobile app or website) and assisted channels used by our colleagues in CRM and ordermanagement systems. You will therefore work on platforms that serve millions of customers daily across a variety of touchpoints.

Requirements
Java SE
- Routine knowledge of built-in data structures (collections) time complexities
- Experience with commonly used design patterns and programming principles
- Experience with code refactoring
- Strong experience with functional programming concepts in Java and the Stream API
- Overview of JVM features and the Java build lifecycle
Spring Boot
- Spring Boot 3 - understanding of key mechanics overview of capabilities
- Dependency Injection and IoC principles
- JPA/Hibernate - good understanding of key mechanics
- REST SOAP WS - overview of capabilities working experience
- Implementation within the Spring ecosystem
- Declarative vs imperative realization
- Available clients
- Strong experience with application debugging
- Kafka - experience with application integration using Kafka
- Understanding of basic Kafka principles
SQL
- Working knowledge of DML
- Understanding of indexing basic performance evaluation
- Experience working with relational databases in production (preferably Oracle or PostgreSQL)
Other
- Routine knowledge of Git
- Practical user-level experience with Kubernetes (k8s) - advantage
- Basic understanding of GitLab CI/CD pipelines - advantage
