Pay Rate:The annual salary range for this role is $110000-$120000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

In this role you will oversee Stewarding operations of the Waldorf Astoria New York managing a large team supporting the production of exceptional and varied food and beverage offerings.
The ideal candidate will be a remarkable leader exceptional strategic planner creative thinker with well-rounded experience a passion for delivering unique and memorable experiences and the ability to drive the business forward through innovation and fostering a positive culture.
What will I be doing
The Executive Steward is responsible for managing and directing stewarding operations to ensure the full support of the food and beverage department of Waldorf Astoria New York. Specifically you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Manage all stewarding operations to include but not limited to inventory management maintenance of sanitation and cleanliness standards systems management budget and forecasting health inspections safety initiatives report generation department management meeting participation and facilitation implementation of policies and procedures cost controls and overall profitability
- Lead staff in daily coordination and distribution food and beverage support items
- Oversee equipment storage and distribution according to established standards
- Monitor and develop team member performance to include but not limited to providing supervision and professional development scheduling conducting counselling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward
- Recruit interview and train team members
- Ensure compliance with health safety sanitation and alcohol awareness standards and prepare for health inspections
