Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced IT Project/Program Manager to join their cybersecurity transformation initiative. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact projects that directly support business objectives while working with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will bring 6-10 years of project management experience and a proven track record of delivering complex IT solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans timelines and resource allocations for cybersecurity initiatives
Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead diverse teams to deliver IT solutions that meet business requirements and organizational goals
Progress Management: Monitor project milestones identify deviations and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence
Team Coordination: Provide strategic direction and leadership to project teams contractors and consultants
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent communication with leadership regarding project status risks and key milestones
Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes throughout the entire project lifecycle
Risk Management: Proactively identify assess and mitigate project risks using industry best practices

Requirements

6-10 years of IT project management experience preferably in cybersecurity or enterprise technology
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Engineering Business or related field
PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent project management certification preferred
Strong experience with project management methodologies (Agile Waterfall Hybrid)
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project Jira etc.)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex technical environments
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and IT governance practices
