Cook Required for Seniors Living Facility
If you are looking for a position in a dependable field with one of the most dynamic employers in Southern Alberta keep reading.
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience in cooking who has a flexible willing and positive attitude. The right applicant will have provincial certification in food safety and hygiene and standard first aid certification. A current satisfactory criminal record check is required. Journeyman Cook certification is considered an asset.
About the position:
- This is a permanent Part-Time position.
- Must be available to work weekdays weekends and holidays.
- After 6 months of employment cost sharing benefits are offered with this position.
Basic Responsibilities of the position include:
- Prepping and cooking for 50 people per meal
- Following the established menu plan
- Maintaining a clean and well-organized kitchen.
- Ordering food and kitchen inventory.
- Liaising with residents by assisting with serving
- Cleanup in the dining room as required.
