ARCTIC OIL & GAS SERVICES (AOGS) OVERVIEW

Arctic Oil & Gas Services (AOGS) provides integrated camp catering logistics and workforce support for industrial exploration military and construction clients operating in the Inuvialuit Settlement Region and adjacent northern areas. The Forward Operating Location (FOL) capability enables rapid safe and compliant deployment of people equipment and services to remote camps. AOGS maintains disciplined operational readiness across staffing travel health and safety compliance and financial controls with an emphasis on supporting Inuvialuit employment and community participation in northern operations.


JOB SUMMARY


The Breakfast Cook is responsible for preparing breakfast and assisting with the preparation of lunch and dinner services in small camp settings. This role includes maintaining food safety standards supporting the Chef and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. The position involves both independent and team-oriented tasks in a dynamic camp environment.


QUALIFICATIONS


Applicants must be/have:

  • Completion of a culinary program or equivalent experience. (Food safety certification).
  • Experience cooking in remote camp settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Indigenous foods and culinary practices is an asset.
  • Food Safety and Handling certification is required.
  • Physically able to perform duties that require long shifts
  • Meets physical requirements including lifting to 50 lbs. (22 kg).
  • Available for early morning shifts including starting times as early as 4:00 a.m.
  • Comply with workplace dress code requirements.
