Job Summary

Thats exactly whats needed to take on the role of a junior sous-chef at Jackson Café. Were looking for someone who can effectively manage the kitchen team during the preparation of all dishes. Even better this key team memberwith a positive and persuasive attitudewill excel in developing their team to exceed customer expectations. (Psst! This talented individual will also have the chance to brilliantly prepare a variety of refined dishes.)
Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday from 7AM - 4PM.
WHAT YOULL DO
- Understand adhere to and apply all operational policies procedures standards and kitchen training programs;
- Ensure all dishes and products are prepared and served consistently according to recipes portion sizes cooking techniques and restaurant service standards;
- Manage food preparation cooking activities plate presentation and resolve customer satisfaction issues;
- Focus on achieving and exceeding revenue targets while maintaining acceptable labor cost parameters and service standards;
- Monitor and manage service quality health safety and cleanliness.
WHAT YOULL BRING
- Experience in a renowned fine dining restaurant (a plus);
- Proven ability to plan and organize with effective time management skills and keen attention to detail;
- Confident and professional attitude with demonstrated leadership abilities;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Sociable friendly and persuasive personality.

The annual salary for this role is between $50000 and $60000 depending on experience qualifications and internal equity.
